How to Assign or Edit Student Assignments to Lunch Groups

This guide explains how to assign students to their lunch groups.
The creation and editing of lunch groups are not covered in this guide. Please refer to “How to Create or Edit Lunch Groups.”


Assign Students to Their Groups
Click “Lunch Groups” in the menu to begin assigning students.


Select the School
Click “Choose a School” and select the school for which you want to manage lunch group assignments.

View Beneficiaries
By default, the left view displays “All Beneficiaries,” so you’ll see all students registered on the ordering platform, regardless of their lunch group.


View Lunch Groups
To view only students from a specific group or those not yet assigned to any group, click the dropdown menu and select the desired group.
In this example, click “Beneficiaries Without a Lunch Group.”


View Lunch Groups
You can also search by student name, parent/guardian, grade level, or lunch group name.


Sort Students
Select a lunch group on the right using the dropdown menu.


Assign a Group
To move a student to another group, click the arrow next to the student’s name to transfer them to the selected group on the right.

You can see that the student is now assigned to the “Beige Group.”


Assign a Group
This function also works in reverse — for example, you can move Béatrice from the Beige Group back to “Beneficiaries Without a Lunch Group” by clicking the arrow.

You can see that Alek no longer has a lunch group assigned.

You can also perform this action with two different groups side by side to move students from one group to another. Select another group from the dropdown menu.

Select the student and click the arrow.

The student now appears in your group on the left, “Groupe A”
All changes are saved automatically and will appear in the distribution report.
